Supercharging our Companies in Partnership with New Canadians
Thursday, April 4th, 2024, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Maple Leaf Think Food Centre, Mississauga

We are pleased to re-launch our FBO Inclusive Leadership Forum, sponsored by FCC. Our processor members designed this forum to address the issues and opportunities within our sector. We are thrilled to have Farah Mohamed, an advocate for sustainable, equitable and future-ready communities, as our keynote speaker.

This session will focus on creating an inclusive workplace for newcomers to Canada, by understanding the challenges newcomers face, the benefits of creating an inclusive workplace and how processors can attract and retain newcomers. We will also look at ways companies can help newcomers integrate into the community and discuss:

  • Are we poised to be the employer of choice for new Canadians?
  • Are we moving beyond buzzwords and getting down to business?
  • What do we know, what don’t we know and what can we do about it?

Join us for an inspiring and informative conversation about recruiting and retaining new Canadians.

We will start the morning with a breakfast/networking session at 8:00 AM followed by our keynote speaker Farah Mohamed who will share her experiences and answer questions from the audience. Following Farah’s talk, we will hold a panel discussion with processors and community partners.

Attendees will walk away with ideas and solutions they can practice immediately in their own companies.

Block your calendars for April 4th, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM It’s going to be a great session.
